Open Battery Cuties, pick an emoji battery you like, and enable it. You may be asked to grant a display / notification permission so the app can show the emoji on your status bar. Your real charge percentage is still shown by the emoji.
Make sure you granted the display-over-other-apps / notification permission, and that battery-saver or other customization apps aren't blocking it. Some phone brands limit changes to the status bar, so results can vary by device and Android version.
No. The troll battery in Battery Cuties shows a fake percentage for fun (like 9999%) so you can prank your friends. It does not change your device's real battery level in any way.
No. This is a personalization app — it only changes how the battery icon looks. It does not improve, save, extend or speed up your real battery or charging.
Android shows the battery in the system status bar, so to display your chosen emoji there the app draws an overlay or uses a notification. It uses this only to show the emoji battery — it does not read your notifications, messages or other apps.
The app is free and supported by ads. There are currently no in-app purchases or subscriptions, so there's nothing to cancel or restore. If paid features are added later, the price will be shown before you buy.
If a consent prompt appeared when you first opened the app, you can decline personalized ads there. You can also reset or opt out of your Advertising ID in Android via Settings → Privacy → Ads. Clearing app data lets the prompt appear again.
Your settings and battery level stay on your device. Because the free app is ad-supported, we use Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Adjust and the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which process limited device and advertising identifiers.
